One Day! One Book! For children throughout San Francisco!Jumpstart’s READ FOR THE RECORD is a national campaign that was launched in order to raise awareness about the importance of early literacy readiness by creating the largest shared reading experience in history! Come to a library READ FOR THE RECORD event to listen to a reading of Corduroy by Don Freeman, perhaps join in an activity, and collect stickers, bookmarks, and a participation certificate. Ingleside Branch participation for the Read for the Record will be held in San Miguel Child Development Center at 300 Seneca Ave., San Francisco with Brian Harrigan's 23 pupils, ages three to four years old.
